Austrian Surfer Saves Tourist In Big Swell

A Turkish woman, Kyuncu (36) almost drowned during a big swell when swimming at Berawa Beach on Saturday afternoon (16 July 2022).

Based on witnesses’ accounts, the incident began when Kyuncu was swimming in front of Finns Beach Club and was suddenly dragged by the current down the beach.

Luckily an Austrian surfer spotted her and with the help of security from Finns Beach Club got her to the beach safely.

She was immediately rushed to Hydro Clinic in Tibubeneng for medical assistance.
